Ever since legendary University of Texas football coach Darrell Royal commissioned a symbol for Longhorn helmets in 1961, the silhouette of a Longhorn head in burnt orange has been synonymous with Texas athletics, along with the battle cry of "Hook 'em Horns!", which by the way, adorns our 46-pound, representation of this famous logo.
The symbol is two-sided, with the legend "Texas" appearing on one side and "Hook 'em Horns" on the the other side.
